[and at 7 am, this time all the tv's in the prison turn on. it seems as though the warden has another show for them all to see! what fun! when the tv turns on, it's just a dark screen yet again. so when she speaks only her voice is heard.]

Hello everyone! How are you all this lovely morning? Let's see here- it's Tuesday, January 7th. The rain is still coming down outside, but it's so cold out! Freezing rain can be worse than snow in some cases, you know. So be very careful! Now then....

[the light turns on! and it reveals three individuals strapped to chairs. john, philip, and shotaro are all in these seats. the doctor comes walking out, many guards are pushing a giant contraption with her as she steps into the light.]

You see everyone... lately you all have been far too... nosy, let's say. I provide for you, I make sure you're all nice and comfortable, and this is how you all keep on repaying me? My my... first Second, then you took him from me, now inside my office?

I was patient at first, then I tolerated it, but now I'm going to set an example.

[the doctor pulls the lever, and the roulette begins.]

[ Philip is quietly trying not to freak out. So he's strapped to a chair and there's some kind of retribution in store. How bad can it be, really?

It's with apprehension that he eyes that roulette. What would happen if he just... didn't tell the doctor to stop it? Would it keep going? ]

[and the roulette begins! the choices all pass by, the machine letting out a small tune as it keeps on going... and then....

it stops. spleen.

the warden claps from a little ways away, still in the dark. the doctor on the other hand stares at the choice, then back to philip.]

Good news? You'll live from this. [she brings a hand to her face, removing the lollipop she had in her mouth. she walks over to him, placing it on the steel tray with all the other tools laid about.]

Bad news, you'll be at a high risk of contracting other illnesses and infection. [she says this as she puts on her gloves.]

[ And just like that, he officially fails at trying not to freak out. He tugs at the straps binding his arms. ]

Don't do this.

Oh come on, it won't be that bad.

[besides... she's dying to do this anyway. she goes over to him, picking up a needle along the way.]

Like I said, you'll live.

[Well fuck. This sucks a lot. He knew exactly what was coming, and he'd drug Philip and John right down with him. He was gonna have to make up for this one. Hard-boiled, Shotaro. And maybe his Branch of sin would be an asset here.]

[and it was his turn. the roulette went on, doing the same little song as the options were being spun around, eventually they came to a halt.

there was a slight giggle off to the side, the warden was so amused by that option. oh, how will he get around the prison now? what fun!

the doctor nodded, going to put on her gloves already.]

[how wonderful! and does she even need to put him under for this...? ohhh she's debating on that. she grabs a needle, holding it up to the light she flicks at the glass of the needle.]

Oh and if you squirm, it'll only make removing it even harder.

[she presses a button and the chair he's sitting in reclines back so he's now staring up at the ceiling.]

[ John really couldn't determine what made him more sick about this whole event: that he couldn't do anything to help Philip and Shotaro, or that he knew Clara would be watching everything. He didn't want anyone to worry about him, but especially her. It wasn't like last time when she hadn't been around to see him launch a bullet right into his skull. This time, especially for her sake, he had to be strong.

Of course, he didn't want to make the Warden and her lackeys think they had won the war, either. ]

If you think I'm afraid you can think again. I'll take anything you dish out.

[and as he says that, the roulette stops on a certain option. oh looky that!

lots of organs being removed today! too bad, the warden loves removing eyes and limbs the most. she's pulling on her gloves as she speaks.]

You say that now, but I've seen grown men scream.

[ He looked at the wheel for only a moment before turning to her, his expression a stark contrast from his usual cheery grin. ]

Oh, Doctor. [ Naturally, he said the word rather sarcastically. ] I suppose you haven't heard. I'm no ordinary man.

[and she's going over to him, holding out her needle.]

Good for you, you can live a perfectly normal life without your gallbladder.

[He's quietly freaking out over here, because what if that was Hina up there? But he looks pretty relaxed. He's sucking on a popsicle of course, and taking up most of a sofa in the lounge.] Tche. Moron.

[ Eiji was the direct opposite of "relaxed". He had only just entered the lounge when the broadcast had began, and within mere seconds he looked to be in an absolute panic. Surely they couldn't do this, right? Right? ]

[Nonon was woken up by the sound of the intercom, and rushed out to see what was going on.
She had heard rumours that this sort of thing happened, but hadn't seen it in action.

[ In most cases Scratch would have wanted to enjoy this kind of thing without anyone's interruption, but the idea of seeing half of the prison's inmates freaking the hell out was just too irresistible. It was a pretty lucky coincidence that Nonon was the first person he noticed, too -- then again it was pretty hard not to notice the little cotton candy bitch. ]

Looks pretty brutal, huh?

[Clara has found herself staring at the screen in confusion. She had no idea how this had even happened, she had just woken and heard a clamour outside, and now saw this.
Ugh, what a way to wake up.]

[ Hayate stood there with eyes glued to the screen. No, this could not be happening. The boy tried greeting his roommate when he woke up, but finding no answer he thought he was out doing his own thing. Once he heard the commotion he froze at seeing John's face on the screen. ]

[ He wanted to do something. Anything, but he couldn't move, even at this rage he felt. Hayate knew he wasn't strong enough, he wish he was. ]

I can't believe no one's doing anything, but... what can we do? I sure would throw some sense into these people.
