It's February 12, and it's a sunny day. How... lovely.
No pun intended there given what's in two days. I bet you kids can hardly wait, especially after everyone getting into the mood with the lovely event.

That's all that's happening. Well.. I think Irving is selling nail polish or something. Go pretty yourself up for your date, girls.

[ The cell doors open, but the dull hum of silence echoes from the speakers, signalling the microphone is still on.

Only moments after, the sound of footsteps entering the room are heard. The click of high heels hitting the floor sounds angry, somehow. There’s only one other woman in charge, but the tone of The Ringleader’s voice is no where near her usual cheer. The edge to it is almost... chilling. ]

Tell me for real, Karin. Why did you do it?

Why not? Why are you so nice to these people? They're the lowest scum of the earth and deserve death, plain and simple.

You don't even have the right to ask me that. [ There was a moment, like she was hesitating. ] She left me in charge, not you. Do you think I'll let you get away free on going against me like that?!

I really don't care for your opinions, Kiyoko. She might have left you in charge but I'm the only one with the guts to properly run this show. Hell, give you enough time and you'll turn this place into Sugary Sweet Pink Wonderland instead of Deadman's Wonderland.

You have no idea what kind of person I am or how far I'll go. If you so much as think about disobeying me again -- we'll see which one of us really has the guts.

I can't help but be curious. If you killed someone out of self defense, is it really a righteous murder? I know this is a prison and all and there's probably a lot of guys who killed for reasons that are bad and are for anything else but that, but I can't help but be curious.

[ The feed turns on rather abruptly today -- there's a young, familiar girl with purple hair on the screen, but there's something different about her. Rather than having her usual, demure appearance, she seems to boast self-confidence, clapping for everyone with a smile.

And that smile seems to practically radiate evil. There's a laugh that leaves her lips, a mischievous one. But people who know her well might notice that there's something missing. You know the wheelchair that she's usually sitting in? Well, she's not sitting down on it now. ]

Congratulations, congratulations, Group A! It seems that you guys managed to conquer the mafia game without too many losses. Too bad you all are so bad at it. To be honest, I would have done it in a much more entertaining way; starving people to death in a bo~ring coliseum like that is no fun.

Too bad nobody listened to me. I could have helped them. I could have led those poor sheep to salvation. But that's too bad, because in the end they ended up killing themselves. Oh, well. Being able to know how many people died was quite entertaining, and I was this close to laughing when everyone thought that I was the wolf.

Ha! If I was the wolf, I would done a much better job of choosing my victims. It's too bad that it had to end in such a way. How pitiful. Oh, but I guess I forgot to introduce myself. After all, this is the first time we've spoken like this, isn't it? [ She smiles, cruelly, a chuckle leaving her lips. ] My name is Hazama Rei. It's a pleasure to meet you. It's too bad that we can't be friends, though. Now then, I suppose if any of you have questions, you might as well ask them. I may or may not answer them, depending how busy I am.

Now as for poor Team B. I warned you guys you needed to lynch, did I not? Nobody even tried on Day 3, so I'm dreadfully sorry to have to do this.

[ Captain is shown flipping a switch on a board of some sort. It's hard to tell what it is, however. She smirks as she turns back. ]

Enjoy the poison injected into your collars. It's deliciously fatal. That's what you little insubordinates get for not listening to the Captain. Maybe next time you'll learn.

Good morning, friends! Did you hear? Today is super special! It's February 2nd, and today is event day! Lucky for you, it's even sunny out! This is a good chance for all of you to go out there and do your best! If you win, you might even impress me~ Our Captain will be leading the event this time, so let's all wish her our best!

We woke you all up early to get prepared, as the event will begin at sunrise. No time for breakfast, sorry to say... you all ate good last night, right? As for who will be participating... that's a surprise! Keep your eyes out for a guard to come get you.

[this is a very special occasion indeed. everything has changed now, the warden figured it was no longer time for her to hide in the shadows with this new development.

so that day, all the cameras turned on throughout the prison. every single one was turned on, showing the warden's room once more, and it was dark as usual. in a flash however, the lights were turned on.... and second was sitting on a chair in the middle of the room.

they found second. she found second. her second in command has been found. the man is passed out, tied to a chair, and this time the warden actually steps into view. she's able to be seen now, her face visible for the first time ever, and she places a hand on second's shoulder.]

How is everyone doing? [she smiles.] As you can see, I have found the rat that has been hiding in the basement all this time. Second is here. For those that don't know him... well, consider yourselves lucky~! He's given me a lot of trouble over the past couple years. But now that I have him I'm never letting him go.

So because of that, I am leaving the rest of the staff in charge. I must depart along with Second, and I just don't know when you'll see me next. So, this could be farewell for us! Or it could be... a see you later? Who knows~

[she walks closer to the camera, now staring directly into it.] No matter what, I will still be in contact with the staff. I will still know what you are all up to.... and your fate will forever be in this prison's hands.

I passed away once again as a result of post-splenectomy infection, and when I awoke I had regrown the arm that was cut off during the recent Carnival Corpse! The eye that was removed, however, is still missing. This is quite arbitrary. Would anybody out there be willing to help shed some light on this mystery?

Hello Residents, this is your...Captain speaking. I regret to inform you that there have been some... changes, in the staff. You will soon find out, so I wouldn't bother with trying to find out for yourself! I've heard some of the people around here like to... snoop around.

Today is the 29th of January, a Tuesday. The snow is letting up a bit but unfortunately there is some freezing rain moving in with it. That's dreadful. Hopefully icing on the power lines won't cause another power outage.

To assist some of the residents with their desires for money, we will be having a little trivia game. You will win 2,000cp per each question you get right, up to20,000cp. So ten trivia questions. But if you get three wrong, we'll take money away instead! So do be careful.

[ Far be it from something as simple as a blackout to prevent Loki from continuing on with his daily schedule. He had made a quick stop to the gift shop for a flashlight, but as far as he was concerned that would be the only deviation from his work. It was strange, really, how he both loathed and found the smallest bit of solace in the predetermined. In many ways it seemed that keeping himself caught up in a routine was the only way he could avoid going mad. Too much time to think wasn't particularly ideal, especially with how much of it he had done earlier that day. His determination to form something as silly as a book club was idea born purely of sentiment, after all. In a way he hated how he clung to the idea, but he imagined he would only hate himself more if he were to give up on it. ]

Don't tell anyone I told you, okay? Everything will be back to normal by bedtime, but you'll have to use your communicators as flashlights until then. That might be cool at least! You can --

[ About then it sounds like someone else has entered the area. The awful voice in the background could easily be recognized as Irving's. He's quick to leave, but not before one of his horrible laughs is broadcast across the prison. The Ringleader springs back into action like nothing happened. ]

Everyone, good news! Irving-san has told me that flashlights will be 100% off today! How nice, huh? The dark might be scary, but we'll be looking out for you all, so don't worry~
