I would say that we have quite a bit in common here, wouldn't you? We share a common situation, many of us share a common culture, and with a few outliers, we're around the same age. Surely, many common patterns of behavior and communication would arise from such similarities. One could argue that this emergent 'common sense' tells you nothing about the underlying personality that produces it because you can't look into someone's mind and see their lines of reasoning, but that might be a self-defeating argument since giving such an answer would be the sort of departure from 'common sense' which reveals one's personality.
