[ Will didn't know how close Edgar was to the place they had planned to meet, so he didn't waste any time heading there. He hadn't socialized much up until that point and had never really stayed in the lounge room for more than a few minutes at a time. All things considered, it was nicer than most places around. He flopped down in the most comfortable looking chair he could find and sat the beers on a table. Nothing to do but wait. ]

[He would head straight for the common room so he wouldn't have long to wait. Sure enough, he was easy enough to spot. Soon, Edgar wa approaching him.]

I assume you're Will. I'm Edgar. [If he's not Will, this place had a bad case of depression.]

[ Will looked up from the extremely interesting table he was staring down at the sound of someone's voice. That was Edgar, eh? ]

You'd assume right.

[ He didn't bother with politeness, instead giving the table's surface a slap to indicate Edgar should sit the heck down and get ready for booze. ]

Make yourself comfortable, mate.

[Edgar slides in the chair beside him, taking one from the pack, looking it over before opening the top.]

Thank you. [He won't say more until he's had his first drink.] Were you lonely or did you have something you wanted to forget?
