Good day, Deadman Wonderland. It's been a little while since we spoke but a few of my thoughts were repeating themselves. I have another question:

What is the difference between a dog and a wolf? Metaphorically, speaking, of course. In this situation... Well. I wouldn't go so far as to accuse of everyone being guilty but a little paranoia may be forgiven when you're in prison. I suppose the better question is: does the vote of a judge define what guilt is? Is the person who did nothing but convicted a wolf? Or are they a dog, wrongly identified, and thrown in with the real wolves?

I admit it's a bit of a heavy subject. If you'd like to ask me questions instead, I'll answer them to the best of my ability. After all, we're all civilized people here. Conversation keeps our minds agile.

You think you're innocent and so others must be innocent. Is that the line of thinking you have?

Ah, um... I- I'm pretty sure not everybody... but there's a lot of people!

Because they seemed really nice...

So they might. Let me explain. Say you get a pet. A wolf cub. You raise that cub like a precious pet. You may think you've tamed it and that it'll never hurt you. That is--until it does. A wolf or a person may seem harmless until the minute they're not.

I… don’t want to mistrust people like that, though.

Would it be wrong to mistrust a dog after it bit you?

[dolosa]

No... but that's the same for everyone else, I think. Like, the biting could have been an accident. R, right?

It may have been. It might not have been. You might have just been walking down the street and a dog on the loose runs up and bites you. Dog attack cases aren't rare at all.

They aren't?

If they were, there wouldn't be restrictions on certain breeds prone to violence.

[dolosa]

They do that?

Yes, they do. Ever hear of a pit bull?

.... Yeah, but it's not like you don't see them around.

True. There are no breed bans in Japan though the Shiba, Akita, and Toza would be the most dangerous here. If there were no attacks why would such lists exist?

I guess that makes sense...

So it makes a certain amount of sense to be cautious when a dog bites you, doesn't it?

I suppose so...

Mistrust is just natural in that case.
