Good day, Deadman Wonderland. It's been a little while since we spoke but a few of my thoughts were repeating themselves. I have another question:

What is the difference between a dog and a wolf? Metaphorically, speaking, of course. In this situation... Well. I wouldn't go so far as to accuse of everyone being guilty but a little paranoia may be forgiven when you're in prison. I suppose the better question is: does the vote of a judge define what guilt is? Is the person who did nothing but convicted a wolf? Or are they a dog, wrongly identified, and thrown in with the real wolves?

I admit it's a bit of a heavy subject. If you'd like to ask me questions instead, I'll answer them to the best of my ability. After all, we're all civilized people here. Conversation keeps our minds agile.

Until, most likely, it becomes a wolf. Though a name doesn't necessarily define nature, it can lead to a change.

I also find most dogs have quiet a bit of wolf in them.

No, I understood it well enough, but I've yet to find many people that didn't have a bit of wolf in them.

For this metaphor, a wolf is a 'bad' person. The dog and wolf metaphor is a simple one. Both animals are social creatures that are related. The difference is how they act towards people. Dogs are loyal towards them. Wolves will kill one if given the chance.

And yet you see such a clear line between them. Do you really know so many pure people? The world is more gray than black and white.

I will admit there's far more wolves than dogs.

And what of the dog that kills out of necessity?

Still a wolf.

Then you would find a man that kills to defend another a worse person than one who lets them die?

In that particular case? No. I wouldn't. Justice still needs to be done but the coward who would turn their back would need a worse sentence.

No, though I wonder what's made you decide that you are better.

The fact that they allow this prison to exist should answer that.

That only explains why their decision is wrong, not why yours is right.
