DAY CHANGE
[ Today it seemed that Irving was unusually prompt. The second the clock hit 7:00 AM, he turned on the intercom and launched right into the daily news. ]
Good mornin' to all my favorite chickadees! Did ya miss me?! Haha! The time is 7:00 in the AM, the day is Wednesday the 18th, yadda yadda yadda. Want a weather report? Look outside, will ya?! I don't need to tell you folks that snow is meltin' away!
Now that all that borin' stuff is out of the way, uncle Irving is here with a splendid surprise! I'm sure you've all been wonderin' just where I've been, and now I can finally share with all my very bestest friends. While you've all been performin' and makin' the Warden proud, I've been off to the side installin' none other than a pool! Where does my generosity end!? Haha!
In celebration of our brand new pool's grand opening, I've taken the liberty of declarin' today pool party day! Get on out there and have some fun, eh?
