This is to the people running this place. I know you watch us, I know you have eyes on us somewhere. This collar, the stuff it does, you're only getting away with it because nobody outside of here knows but they will. You can't keep it a secret, people will find out and I'll make sure of it.

And about the nap? You can't keep me... chloroformed or whatever forever.

Hey, I'm sorry. That's a pretty rough deal but you do realize we're alreay in pretty deep, right? Nothing's to stop them from killing us all when they're done. Getting out of here's our best chance.

[ bites his lip. thinking. thinking. plays with his device a moment then puts it back and folds his hands. ] What would you need? Theoretically. Obviously any plan would be a rough draft of a rough draft but...

[Give her a moment to stop looking surprised. She hadn't expected to see that in here.]

I need to know how they found out I was in their systems. Even if they have some kind of advanced technology, I don't buy they could track me without letting me know I was tracked.

[So maybe it's a bit too early to be telling her plan to somebody but he hadn't given in easy and maybe she's a sucker for his story.] So, if we can find out how they're tracking us here and disable it long enough for me to fully hack in, I think I could get news out. There's no way they have everything blocked off from the outside world.

What if it's the collars? [ Speculation on his part but it would make sense, wouldn't it? ] I'll ask around...

[ folds his arms ] I can't imagine they think everything is entirely voluntary while watching if they have things like prisoners being electrocuted for entertainment value.

Sometimes you have to protect your sources. [And she'll find out in person, okay?

She points to the camera.] Then it's not getting out to the right people. If we can hack into the equipment while it's broadcasting, we can send a message.

I usually protect mine by not implying I have any. [ :)

A tiny smile ] Promising if it works. Difficult in execution. You'd have to be in a position to do that while a broadcast was happening.

Maybe or maybe we don't even have to wait until then. There's an open network if they're going to broadcast. There's a chance it stays open. [She leans back a little.] I just need time to look around inside.

How much time?

Depends on how good their systems are. My guess is that they're pretty top of the line but that hasn't stopped me yet.

If you don't believe in them, you really haven't looked around. Do the showers have curtains? It'd probably look better.
