[After purchasing a communicator, Dirk has found his way to the computer room, a perfect place for him to start his life here in DW considering he was found guilty of cyber crimes. But he is hunched over the keyboard in a corner, trying to find out some sweet information and get a lay of the land (aka seeing if he can hack THIS system without getting caught). Kind of sucks that there's a time limit. 10 minutes isn't even enough to watch porn.]
I was going to organize a revolt had it not been for the provided manual's subtle cues of disapproval against it.
Darn.
That leaves only plan B, and you know plan B never lives up to the hype of plan A, the main honcho.
The thing is, plan B requires community participation.
Even more so than your standard, run-of-the-mill usurpation.
Maybe.
What I'm asking is, please sign my change.org petition to increase the maximum usage time in the computer room.

I... suppose you could?
I do have an actual name, though. It's John.
[text]
I'm Dirk.
[text]
Dirk! That's a fantastic name. Love it.
So what is it you usually do besides the, uh, computer thing?
[text]
Occasionally the drawing thing.
But mostly the computer thing.
And yourself?
[text]
What's quite the array of hobbies!
Me? Well, travelling is my favorite but that's been put on a five year hold. Aside from that I like making gadgets. I was working on a multi-functional handheld before I ended up here but it was confiscated as you can imagine.
[text]
How multi-functional are we talking here?

It was all still rather preliminary so nothing was entirely concrete. I had hoped to give it various practical uses, but I hadn't decided what all of those would be yet. It was intended to be sort of like a technologically advanced utility knife -- though, you know, less of the knife part.

No appreciation for talent and innovation around here.
[text]
I can see why not, but it's still frustrating. I'm still turning ideas of course, but with no way to test them it's not exactly easy to make progress.

I don't see why not. Two heads are better than one as they say.
