[After purchasing a communicator, Dirk has found his way to the computer room, a perfect place for him to start his life here in DW considering he was found guilty of cyber crimes. But he is hunched over the keyboard in a corner, trying to find out some sweet information and get a lay of the land (aka seeing if he can hack THIS system without getting caught). Kind of sucks that there's a time limit. 10 minutes isn't even enough to watch porn.]
I was going to organize a revolt had it not been for the provided manual's subtle cues of disapproval against it.
Darn.
That leaves only plan B, and you know plan B never lives up to the hype of plan A, the main honcho.
The thing is, plan B requires community participation.
Even more so than your standard, run-of-the-mill usurpation.
Maybe.
What I'm asking is, please sign my change.org petition to increase the maximum usage time in the computer room.

They might change it to eleven minutes if we ask nicely.

It's not typically how wars are won, but Rome wasn't built in a day either.

Is this really something we should consider a war?

They won't change it. Contesting regulations is wasted effort.

Especially if the reason for the limitation in the first place is arbitrary.
Unless I can get some solid proof that inmates are more likely to rub their dicks off in eleven minutes than ten, I'm not buying that a ten minute limitation produces significantly different results over any other number.

You're new, so I'll give you a pointer: nothing here is arbitrary. Limitations are in place to remind of us of our position. We're helpless to their whims and they don't want us to forget it.

I'd rank it in the bottom 5% of the list of immediate or overwhelming concerns.
I haven't fully explored the capabilities of the communicator yet, but I assume it lacks a few features a desktop can easily provide.

I hear the power of imagination can help out if you're in a bind.

I think more time on the computer is a pretty worthy goal, personally.

A more effective strategy would be to prevent us all from communicating period.
