[After candy shopping with Hina, he is off to work in the Courtyard. He's actually dressed for the weather this time, except he has no hat. Stupid snow shoveling.

Later, he's in the Library and he's back in his perch on top of one of the bookshelves again. He's just sitting there with his legs crossed in front of him this time. He's got a small stack of books with him, and he's reading one about seances.

Finally, he's in his room in G-Block actually doing the damn seance the President asked for. Because he'll do anything for cash. He's created some kind of magic circle from half-melted popsicles on the floor, and incorporated the sticks too. He's got the communicator set up so it's only going to broadcast to the President. And he triple-checked it too. No way it's going to leak to anyone else. But it would be a damn shame if someone walked by his cell door while he was doing it.]

[ Fetch wasn't stupid. She knew exactly where her cell was, but that wasn't stopping her from exploring as much of G-Block as she could. If this dump was going to be her new home, she was going to get to know every inch of it. Figure out how things worked. That's the only way to survive no matter where you end up.

Whatever the guy was up to with the melted popsicles and the hell circle wasn't something she strictly needed to know about, but it was at least the most interesting thing she'd seen all day. ]

[ She smirked and helped herself to sitting down right on his bed, her legs crossed. ]

Hey, I'm just tryin' to make some friends. You're welcome to give it a shot though. [ She reached over and gestured to the braid in his hair. ] Anyone ever tell you that's cute?

[He swats her hand away.] I'm not interested in being anyone's friend. Get the hell out before I throw you out. [He gets up from his circle and reaches to grab her by the arm to pull her out.]

[ She pulled her arm out of his grasp with ease. Not getting caught was pretty much her thing. ]

What's your name, grumpy? Or is that it? Grumpy?

Ankh. Now get out. [Okay grabbing at her collar then.]

[ Uh oh, did she move just out of reach~? ]

I meant a real name, doofus, not a nickname. But, hey, if that's how you roll then I won't judge. Personally, most people call me Fetch.

[ She made a move as if she was going to head toward the door, but turned back and ducked further into the room. ]

Is this how everyone gets when they stay here? Really irritable with questionable fashion sense?

[He whirls on where she had moved to.] Do you want to see who's faster? [Brings his nails of one hand toward the opposite arm.]

[ She shrugged, actually grinning. ] I could take you on. We might ruin your pleasant little Satanic summoning circle, though.

[birdinhand]

[He breaks the skin and lets the flames spread over his hand. They don't seem to bother him much though.] I don't think so. This will be over quick.

[ She raised her eyebrows. ] Not a bad trick. Rather or not you'll impress me depends on if you can hit your target, though. [ She hopped up and down to warm up, almost as if the idea of fighting him gave her a buzz. ] Gimme your best shot, Grumpy!

[birdinhand]

Don't go screaming to the Warden if I scar that pretty face of yours. [He holds his hand up, palm out, fingers splayed wide. His first shot is just a straightforward blast of fire.]

Weak.

[ It looked pretty neat, but was easy enough to dodge. ]

But thanks for calling me pretty.

[birdinhand]

[He brought his hands together to spread the flames between them. Even if he didn't actually do any damage to her, if he got her out the door that was still a win.

He sent the flames out at an angle, leaving her no place to go but toward the door.] Enjoy it while it lasts.

Aw. You're like an angry little bird.

[ She didn't want to admit it, but his power was actually what she'd consider worth ranking as damn awesome -- and a little more than she could fight against in an enclosed space. The door did look like the best option right then. ]

Alright, alright. [ She held up her arms. ] You win for now, but I'll be seein' you around. Don't get your feathers too ruffled in the meantime, Grumpy.

[Somehow what she had to say irritated him even further. But she was leaving, so he couldn't complain too much. He glared at her until she finally left.]

[ It's a wonder she doesn't work at the library with how many people she glares at for abusing the library. ]

If I leave, I'm going straight to the thermostat controls I found to turn the heat in the library off. You can take it back and get down or I'll just change them and break it since the cold really doesn't bother me very much.

Just so you know, I think it's entirely irrational for you to stay up there, being a threat to everyone in this prison who doesn't believe that you're capable of keeping your balance during a nap. Furthermore, if the thermostat does happen to break, I'm not sure anyone's going to believe that I did it if you tell them, particularly since you have a much worse reputation than I do. Both in terms of poor attitude and following the rules. That could be fairly detrimental during events if you want CP.

[ She knows it's playing dirty, but she's learning that playing nice here hasn't exactly been working out perfectly. If how she behaves can even be referred to as nice. ]

So I would appreciate it if you would just get down, since I don't have any particular desire to put you in that situation.
