I must admit that prison is turning out to be a much more interesting place than I had expected. I can't say I'm enthusiastic about these brutal, sadistic public displays or the necessity to scrounge up money to keep myself alive on a weekly basis, but I suppose I'll have to tolerate it for the time being.

I am looking forward to learning more about prison life and survival. Does anybody have any tips?

Actually, you'd be surprised. There are some days where literally nothing happens at all.

I mean.... I guess read if you're not working or at school.

I never started. I wouldn't be opposed, but at a rate of 500 CP a day it would take two hundred days to earn a single piece of candy.

I have amnesia.

But considering my appearance and the average rate of human aging, I don't think I could be older than twenty or so.

W-...what?! You really can't remember anything right now?!

Don't be silly, there are plenty of things I can remember. I just have no memory of my past beyond a few years back.

It's the only way I can remember living. If I were to ask you what it's like to be able to remember your childhood, how would you answer?

Then to answer your question, the best adjective to describe my situation would be "frustrating".

I would like that. I have decided to conduct an investigation into the source of power known as "friendship", and so the more sources of friendship I have, the better.

We're friends so that means we trust one another.

I see! Friendship is complicated, is it not? But that just makes it all the more exciting.

You really think it's complicated? I find it to be just nice.
