Grand opening!

[As soon as it's 7:00 am, there is a loud beep that echoes through the corridors of the prison. It's time for an announcement as the intercom comes on.]

Good morning my wonderful criminals, how are you all feeling? Don't worry, I can assure you that dizzy spell will wear off as soon as you get up and stretch those legs of yours. Be careful of your collar as well, as you might have guessed it has all sorts of functions! Also, today is December 8th, Sunday, and it's currently 7 am.

Now, it would be in your best interest to read your manuals that we've given you, just so you can get nice and settled in.

I'm afraid it's a little cold outside, if you have time to check the courtyards then you'll most likely feel that winter's breeze on your rosy little cheeks! Do be careful, I don't want any of you getting frostbite on your first day, that would be tragic.

Since it's the grand opening for you new comers, we are currently holding a small party in the cafeteria! Grab your soon-to-be-friends and head on down. We have tables set up and food as well!

[With that being said, the doors to the cells now slide open, allowing the inmates to leave their rooms.

In the cafeteria majority of the tables have been cleared away, and the ones that remain have red tablecloths on them, nice and fancy! The spread consists of luxurious food, even sweets of all kinds. Since it's December, it seems that the warden is in a rather giving mood, aren't you all lucky! ]

[Having a roommate in a place like Deadman Wonderland wasn't exactly Rise's idea of a good day out. Not only because she didn't know who the roommate was, but she hoped that it wasn't a complete snob.

Or someone who would be out to get her.]

[evokes]

[Minako herself isn't too bothered by the idea of having a roommate, she at least hoped they would be nice. Then again, maybe even hoping for "nice" in a place like a prison was too much to ask for... Which is why she's incredibly surprised when she sees Rise in the room--being the music-loving person she is, she definitely recognizes her, and the surprise shows on her face.]

--are you Risette? [IS SHE SERIOUSLY MEETING AN IDOL IN PRISON.]

[risetting]

[She knew this was coming to her eventually. She just didn't expect her roommate to know who she was. With a solemn smile on her face Rise shakes her head.]

No, I'm not.

[evokes]

... huh. [Minako probably shouldn't be surprised really since why on earth would an idol like Risette be in prison, but if she says she isn't, well. As it was, there was no reason not to believe her.] It's just that you really look like her-- I'm sorry, you must get this a lot.

[risetting]

Ha, ha, don't worry... it's fine.

[There's a hollow laugh that escapes her as she scratches the back of her head.]

Anyway, it looks like we'll be rooming together! [Trying to stay chipper and positive, at least Minako doesn't look like a crazy weirdo.] I'm Rise, by the way. Rise Kujikawa.

[evokes]

[Chipper and positive, now that's something Minako can work with.]

Well, it's nice to meet you, Rise-san! I'm Minako Arisato. It's not exactly the best circumstances, but here's to rooming together.

[risetting]

It's nice to meet you too, Minako-chan. [She's hesitant, but:] And yeah, I know.

[evokes]

[She gives a bit of a wry smile.] I just hope the circumstances don't get any worse, y'know? Although I guess that might be asking for much in a prison.

[risetting]

... Yeah.

[She says this a little melancholy, knowing that she was put in here on false charges.]

[evokes]

[While Minako is here due to similar circumstances, she knows that there's no one who would've been able to (or willing to, for that matter) help prove her innocence.]

Well, let's just try to make the best of it, yeah?

[risetting]

Yeah, of course. I already told myself that I wasn't going to die here.

[And she really doesn't. But, at least Minako seems nice.]

At least you seem nice, so that's something to be happy about.

[evokes]

Yeah, now that's the sort of spirit you should have in a place like this! [Never mind that Minako herself doesn't really have a similar conviction...]
