[As soon as it's 7:00 am, there is a loud beep that echoes through the corridors of the prison. It's time for an announcement as the intercom comes on.]

Good morning my wonderful criminals, how are you all feeling? Don't worry, I can assure you that dizzy spell will wear off as soon as you get up and stretch those legs of yours. Be careful of your collar as well, as you might have guessed it has all sorts of functions! Also, today is December 8th, Sunday, and it's currently 7 am.

Now, it would be in your best interest to read your manuals that we've given you, just so you can get nice and settled in.

I'm afraid it's a little cold outside, if you have time to check the courtyards then you'll most likely feel that winter's breeze on your rosy little cheeks! Do be careful, I don't want any of you getting frostbite on your first day, that would be tragic.

Since it's the grand opening for you new comers, we are currently holding a small party in the cafeteria! Grab your soon-to-be-friends and head on down. We have tables set up and food as well!

[With that being said, the doors to the cells now slide open, allowing the inmates to leave their rooms.

In the cafeteria majority of the tables have been cleared away, and the ones that remain have red tablecloths on them, nice and fancy! The spread consists of luxurious food, even sweets of all kinds. Since it's December, it seems that the warden is in a rather giving mood, aren't you all lucky! ]

Who, me? Well... I guess you could call it a situation of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Uh-huh. So you're tellin' me they just dragged in a random bunch of people.

Maybe not random, but I'd be willing to bet it has to do more with people who don't stand a chance of being defended in a court of law. [She shrugs, smiling still but it's a bit wry unlike before.]

[moonsets]

.. [ He scoffs. ]

Well, I could get that kind of explanation in some cases. [ Like his own. Who'd want to defend some street punk who's already committed a crime before..? ] But why wouldn't they defend normal kids?

[ Yes, that's the category he's placed her in mentally for now. ]

And who ever said I was normal? [MINAKO THAT'S NOT SOMETHING TO JUST SAY SO BLUNTLY... but that was how it was to her. Who'd be willing to take the time to defend some orphan kid when there were actual cases out there, right?]

You seem pretty normal to me.

[ Or at least, more normal than him.. even with prisoner clothes he still looks like a hobo with his kind of wild hair that doesn't look like it's seen a proper pair of scissors in quite a while. Minako looks like a pretty average girl though aside from some weird quirkiness in her personality. ]

They say that looks can be deceiving. [She lowers her voice a pitch like she's trying to be ~*SPOOKY*~ and ~*OMINOUS*~, but it's probably true after all, and for everyone at that. You never know what a person might be like just from how they look.]

[ He might have taken her seriously if it wasn't for that tone she's trying to use.. Minako, why do you do this. It's true that she's way over the top quirky, he's sure of that by now. ]

So what, next thing you're going to tell me you're actually some thug? [ No way he'd believe that. ]

I'd make for a clever one, don't you think? Lure unsuspecting victims with a [she grins] charming smile, and then— [She motions punching someone square in the face.] Beat them up just like that!

[ He's so unsure what to think of this girl. But it's not like that kind of story can actually be true - he's seen enough people who cheat others, and she doesn't exactly act like one of them. There's something too genuine about her. ]

Uh-huh. [ Sounding totally unimpressed over here.. TOUGH CROWD. ]

[WOW THIS IS HARDER THAN SHE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!! Not that... she even really knows what she's doing either...... But that doesn't stop her from letting out a sigh.]

You're not buying it at all, are you?

I don't think anyone would buy that story. You need to work on your acting skills a little.

[ Granted, Minako with even more acting skills would be even more quirky.. could the world even handle that. ]

You think so? [She lets out a heavy sigh.] I guess an acting career isn't in my future.
