Grand opening!

[As soon as it's 7:00 am, there is a loud beep that echoes through the corridors of the prison. It's time for an announcement as the intercom comes on.]

Good morning my wonderful criminals, how are you all feeling? Don't worry, I can assure you that dizzy spell will wear off as soon as you get up and stretch those legs of yours. Be careful of your collar as well, as you might have guessed it has all sorts of functions! Also, today is December 8th, Sunday, and it's currently 7 am.

Now, it would be in your best interest to read your manuals that we've given you, just so you can get nice and settled in.

I'm afraid it's a little cold outside, if you have time to check the courtyards then you'll most likely feel that winter's breeze on your rosy little cheeks! Do be careful, I don't want any of you getting frostbite on your first day, that would be tragic.

Since it's the grand opening for you new comers, we are currently holding a small party in the cafeteria! Grab your soon-to-be-friends and head on down. We have tables set up and food as well!

[With that being said, the doors to the cells now slide open, allowing the inmates to leave their rooms.

In the cafeteria majority of the tables have been cleared away, and the ones that remain have red tablecloths on them, nice and fancy! The spread consists of luxurious food, even sweets of all kinds. Since it's December, it seems that the warden is in a rather giving mood, aren't you all lucky! ]

xiaoyu comes over to her, her own plate filled to the brim with all kinds of stuff. the fighter grins at her, shrugging a little.]

Guess you got the same idea as me. A feast means a feast, right? No holding back!

[A FELLOW FOOD LOVER...! Minako grins back at the other girl, even flashing a thumbs-up when she takes a better look at her plate.]

Definitely! If they're going to give us this much food, it'd practically be rude not to enjoy it, y'know?

At first I thought this stuff was poisoned.

[new home, new surroundings, new.... everything, really. xiaoyu had been a little suspicious of just how nice this all seemed, a little too good to be true. she seemed to be more accepting of it now, the more she thought about it.

to make a point that it's not going to kill her to eat this stuff, she reached towards the table and grabbed a grape only to pop it in her mouth.]

But it's harmless, see?

Whoa, yeah... That's really smart of you though, thinking that it might be poisoned. Here I was ready to just dive in without a second thought! [She's glad the food wasn't poisoned man SHE'D ALREADY BE DONE FOR IF IT WAS.]

Ehehe... I only thought that 'cause this is a prison, and I think some people are on death row.

[no need to worry about it now though.]

They can't just kill us off, no they can't!

[She likes food okay!! DON'T JUDGE HER.]

Yeah! I mean, even if some people are on death row, it's not like we're on it too, right? That'd be crazy to just off all the prisoners like that.

[xiaoyu nods. there was the matter of their collars as well, that wasn't normal for sure. something about having to eat candy or else.. right? she had barely even read the manual she was given, she wasn't really one for reading. xiaoyu had always preferred to find out her own way.]

I wouldn't think about it too much. And there's nothing wrong with trying to make friends here, even in prison! So, let's be friends!

...Now back to this feast... [she smiles at her plate, turning to see where she could possibly sit.]

[Minako looks around as well to see if there's room to sit before moving her other plate to make room and scooting as much as she can to the side.]

It might be a bit crowded, but I think you'd be able to fit here if you like.

[THE FEAST BEGINS.... Minako is pretty much stuffing her face, manners apparently completely forgotten.]

Mmm, this is great! Have you tried the fried chicken? I never thought that prison would have food like this!
