[As soon as it's 7:00 am, there is a loud beep that echoes through the corridors of the prison. It's time for an announcement as the intercom comes on.]

Be careful of your collar as well, as you might have guessed it has all sorts of functions! Also, today is December 8th, Sunday, and it's currently 7 am.

Now, it would be in your best interest to read your manuals that we've given you, just so you can get nice and settled in.

I'm afraid it's a little cold outside, if you have time to check the courtyards then you'll most likely feel that winter's breeze on your rosy little cheeks! Do be careful, I don't want any of you getting frostbite on your first day, that would be tragic.

[With that being said, the doors to the cells now slide open, allowing the inmates to leave their rooms.

In the cafeteria majority of the tables have been cleared away, and the ones that remain have red tablecloths on them, nice and fancy! The spread consists of luxurious food, even sweets of all kinds. Since it's December, it seems that the warden is in a rather giving mood, aren't you all lucky! ]

[ Fools are good though. If you don't have fools, then who are you to take your anger out on? Who are you to boss around? Who are the ones you step on to get to the top? Fools are the ones who make the mistakes that make it possible to move forward when you're not one. ]

[ He gives her an expression that's slightly less than how amused he's been the entire time. Kill the fools. Someone can be less intelligent or act foolishly but a fool itself will make a fool of them all in his opinion. Useless wastes of space. ]

[ After all, whether he wanted to be here or not, those little collars made sure that even if they got out, they wouldn't be able to survive without candy collected here. Getting back to Peter's metaphorical world would be difficult in more ways than one, especially if his whole Lost Boys situation was diffused. ]

Of course. [ There's a smile on her lips but it doesn't reach her eyes. It looks almost perfectly crafted otherwise. ]

[ He folds his arms across his chest and leans back in his chair. He's confident. All but one might've ratted him out when he was caught and got a minor sentence bumped up to life (FOOLS) but he can replace them (NO FOOLS ALLOWED). All he has to do is figure out how to make the candy or remove the poison completely. Difficult but Peter Pan never fails. He'll just keep telling himself that until it's true. ]

[ He's staring at her face and he simply nods at her. ] Of course. Silly question. Are you married?

[ Anastasia isn't sure if she believes him or not, so she simply let's that topic lie. If he wants to believe that his world can be reconstructed after this, let him. Anyone not a fool would've taken what they needed when they had the chance, not let Peter go around doing whatever he pleased with them. The Red Queen was fairly certain that Peter had a fairly different definition of "fool" than she did.

The new question, of course, was a bit of a surprise, but certainly not difficult to answer. ]

[ He puts his hands on the table and eyes her carefully, like he's expecting her to remark at him further instead of focusing on his question. She doesn't. He looks pleased she let it die. And tilts his head, focusing on her answer to the question and looking more curious than suspicious. ]

How did he die? [ She did say she didn't commit what she was in here for. He's assuming some sort of murder. If he's wrong, then she'll correct him. Whatever. If he's right he looks like he knows far more than he should, which is always nice. ]

How should I know? It looked like a heart attack when it happened.

[ However, there's something that she wants to add to that. ]

I'm guilty of a great number of things, but I had no reason to take him out of the picture. He was hardly in my way.

[ Well, unless you counted Will but.. she'd thought that bridge had been burned at that time. With her in jail, the only reason that she's certain it might not be is because there's a chance he'll end up in here with her. ]

They blamed you for a heart attack?

...And so true. I can't imagine how someone pushing one into a position of power would be in the way.

Darling, there are plenty of ways to induce a heart attack if you know what you're doing. It just so happens that I didn't.

I was exactly what he wanted in a wife, that's the only reason we were together in the first place. He wanted someone who wanted to go far.

Inducing an attack is quite creative. I usually just rip them out. [ casual hand wave ]

The only reason? Love had nothing to do with it then, hm? Typical adults.

When you have to worry about your reputation you learn to both make less of a mess and have people to clean the ones you do make up for you.

Sometimes love is not enough. It's hard to thrive on a good feeling in your chest.

Well, a lady would be neat about it regardless of reputation.

It's a weakness, of course. The entire idea of marriage seems contradictory though if everyone keeps doing it for status.

And a Queen can do as she pleases. There's a reason no one calls me the Red Lady. [ Don't tell her what she can't do if she's a lady Pan she'll slap you. ]

[ Anastasia doesn't know that she'd call it a weakness completely, but it can certainly get in the way of things. ] Nothing is a weakness if you don't let it hold you back. The idea of marriage is to make sure finances don't just disappear into thin air should something happen to one of the partnership.

So you would get messy?

Who ever said I meant death? Say someone without a penny to her name married someone very, very rich. That woman wouldn't have any right to what he owned unless they were wedded.

But I thought, in that instance, one usually just divorces and now has her own riches.

All the more reason to disperse any motives for murder, wouldn't you say?

[ Of course, she is the type of person who always wants more than she has. ]

I'll agree there. You're probably better off not murdering him.
